This is how il Palchetto, just like the homonymous seating area inside the theatre, offers itself as a starting point from which to observe the incredible spectacle of Palermo.

Very close to the Massimo Theatre and in the immediate vicinity of the main monuments and ancient markets, il Palchetto enjoys a central position from where it’s possible to easily walk to the most renowned sites in the old town, to use the services that the area offers, and to enjoy the lively nightlife that animates the streets of the city. Its strategic location allows you to walk with your eyes raised upwards so as to take in the beauty of its historic buildings, to eat street food while admiring the evocative alleys in the Capo Food Market, and to visit the rooftop of the Cathedral. And don’t worry if you think your stay is too short because, thanks to Silvia’s advice, you will have the time to visit the most renowned sites that will make you fall in love with Palermo and want to return (this time for several days!).

I have spent an amazing week in Palermo but it was even better just because of the il Palchetto B&B. The place is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Everything was extraordinary. Especially the owner who is an amazing young person, always helpful and always smiling. I had a beautiful room with balcony, breakfasts were delicious, it was clean, warm and quiet. That was my best experience ever and I already know that it won't happen again until I visit Palermo and il Palchetto sometime in a future. And I'm 100% sure that it will happen because people like to come back to happy places. Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!

Silvia la dueña, fue increìblemente amable, servicial, simpàtica y atenta. La casa sùper bonita, muy limpia, puesta con mucho gusto y muy acogedora, el desayuno muy bueno y no faltaba de nada, la marmelada de mandarina casera riquìsima. Muy muy bien situada, desde luego para volver y recomendar. Sin duda la mejor casa de B&B que estuvimos en Sicilia.

Le meilleur endroit pour séjourner à Palerme, chez une hôte adorable et disponible! La gentillesse de Silvia, la propreté exceptionnelle, les équipements parfaits (prises USB au mur, articles de toilette, serviettes toutes douces, climatisation très efficace, cendrier sur la terrasse...). Nicely decorated and comfortable place. Silvia is an amazing host, always available to help and give advice. The location is great, really close to the city centre but yet in a fairly quiet street given we are in a busy city. And there is a 24h parking close by. We would definitely come back here if we're back to Palermo, highly recommend!!
